Ronnie Feist transfers to UTSA.

LSU Linebacker/Fullback Ronnie Feist announced Thursday he will transfer to UTSA.

National Signing Day isn’t until next week but the Roadrunners secured the services of Louisiana-native Ronnie Feist on Thursday.

A member of LSU’s team the last four years, Feist took to his Instagram account to announce he will transfer to UTSA.

Feist graduated from LSU in December as a Junior. As a graduate transfer, he will be eligible to enroll and play at UTSA immediately. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Feist was used sparingly in his time in Baton Rogue. In 2012, he played in five games as a freshman linebacker. In 2013, he redshirted as a sophomore. In 2014, he played in four games as a linebacker. In 2015, he began the season as a linebacker but moved to fullback after LSU’s bye week. He saw action in four games last season but did not record any rushing stats.

A four-star recruit out of Edgard, Louisiana, Feist held offers from Maryland, Stanford, Texas A&M, USC and others before signing with LSU as part of their 2011 recruiting class.
