Local QB Commits on TV

Samuel Clemens QB Frank Harris took to local television on Wednesday to announce his commitment to UTSA.

Frank Harris, a local three-star dual-threat QB from Samuel Clemens HS, announced Wednesday he has committed to UTSA’s 2017 recruiting class. 



Harris chose UTSA over his finalists: Rice, Central Florida, North Texas, and New Mexico.

Harris is widely considered one of the area’s more dynamic players. He is coming off a huge junior season where he totaled 4,781 total yards of offense with 55 total touchdowns. He threw for 2,069 yards and 17 touchdowns, while rushing for 2,712 yards and 38 scores.


Harris is the ninth commit to UTSA’s 2017 recruiting class. Here are the other commits:

- RB Dadrian Taylor 6’1” 163lbs Shiner HS (TX)
