UTSA Game Balls for UTSA’s 26-13 Win vs Alabama State

Dalton Sturm got the news following his game-day breakfast that he’d be UTSA’s starting quarterback. The walk-on turned scholarship player had a good showing. Sturm amassed a career-high 274 yards on 20 for 25 passing with two passing touchdowns. He also rushed three times for 52 yards, including a 51 yard play he scored a touchdown on. For his exceptional individual perform, Dalton Sturm earns our offensive game ball.
Saturday was a coming out of sorts for LB Josiah Tauaefa. It was his first game as a Roadrunner and he made the most of it. The redshirt freshman had a team-high 13 tackles, which included nine solos and two sacks. Generally, it seemed like Tauaefa was flying around the field for UTSA’s defense. For his exceptional individual performance, Josiah Tauaefa earns our defensive game ball.
