North Texas Head Coach Seth Littrell talks about this week’s game vs UTSA.

Interview with North Texas Head Coach Seth Littrell

On second half rushing performance versus Army
“We challenged them at the half and told them what we were going to do and the different schemes we were going to run. They did a great job of adjusting and came out with a chip on their shoulders and made some good plays.”

On UTSA
“They are very similar to us. They are getting into their systems with the new coach and each and every game they will get more comfortable in those systems.”

On Conference USA
“Every game in this league is going to be a challenge. Every week, if you are not ready to play or don’t play well, you can get beat by anybody. It’ll be no different Saturday.”

On team building confidence
“When you win, you build confidence. There is no doubt that the more success you have, the more confidence you gain.”

On defensive effort to force turnovers
“It is something that we have been stressing throughout the season and through any of our competitive drills versus each other. The guys have a lot of fun with it, but we need to continue to grow and find success in the turnover battle.”

Rivalry versus UTSA
“In a rivalry like this, it going to be very competitive and a physical football game. They pride themselves on being physical and we need to be sure that we match that and have a great week of practice in order to prepare for that.”
