Bobcats move to top of the list
Texas State has kept in contact with Westlake tackle Will Copa for some time now. He stands 6'8 weighing in at 315 lbs and would be the third offensive lineman to commit. The last time BI talked with Copa, he was considering Texas State. Now, they're at the top of his list. "I'd say Texas State is tied for number one with Washington State," Copa said. "I like Texas State. It's program is on the rise and Coach Fran has been doing great." He still possesses the same four offers: Texas State, San Diego State, New Mexico State and Washington State. Copa said that while looking for the best fit on and off the field. He estimated his decision will come within the first 4 weeks of the season. The Chaparrals kickoff their season Friday August 30 @ Cedar Park the #8 ranked team in the state. Copa is a man among boys out on the field and his size and weight make him a D-1 prospect and a tackle that could serve as an anchor on the O-line.
