With speed and aggressiveness, this offered LB can inflict some serious damage on the field.

Dylan Douglass, a 6'4'" 225 lb., offense attacker has been focusing more on his season at hand and letting recruiters pursue him. In a win against Lubbock HS last weekend, Douglass had an impressive first game: 15 tackles, 5 solo and 2 sacks.

"If I ever do anything not up to standard I use it on the next play and take it out on field," Douglass said of his game method.

Douglass has offers from Texas State and Rice and has been shown interest from Texas Tech, Texas, Utah, Wyoming and TCU. Douglass said he's waiting to see if more schools show interest in him after the season.

TXST Receiver's Coach Jason Johnson has been in close contact with Douglass to check on school work and his health. Douglass and his family visited TXST back in July.

"The coaching staff arranged a tour of the campus just for us and took us to speak with some of the professors," Douglass said. "It was really nice of them to do that for us."

Before making any sort of decision, Douglass said he would like to speak with some players and how it is for them on the team. He's also looking for a kinesiology program that'll help with his future. He's waiting till after the season to make a final choice.
