Game Balls: Week 7

This week saw the offense give up more points than the defense. The "D" was led by this tackling machine. The offense has also found it's starting running back. Here are the "Game Balls" for ULM.

David Mayo - LB
He's had quite the season and may be going unnoticed to some. This week he led both teams in total tackles with 11 and had his third interception of the year. He's now 10 tackles ahead of anyone on the team for the season and leads the entire conference in picks for a linebacker.

Rob Lowe - RB
Looks like he may have stopped the running back carousel from spinning as he's slowly but surely taken a majority of the snaps. He had the best night of his career, although in losing fashion, with 145 total yards on the ground and the only touchdown Texas State scored on Saturday. He now averages 6 yards a carry and 75 yards a game. These numbers should only trend upwards if he plays in this fashion the remainder of the season.
