The BI Staff was able to check in with some prospects on the recruiting trail and see if Texas State has stayed in contact.

Brelynd Goods, OLB Bellaire HS (Bellaire, TX)
Holds an offer from TXST and says that he's really looking into a school that will help him academically as well as on the field. He wanted to commit to TXST back in August but had to focus considerably on his grades if he wants to pursue anything after HS. Goods holds offers from Old Dominion and New Mexico and has garnered interest from SFA in the past weeks. He says he is keeping his options open to any possible change and will make his final decision in December after his season is over. He wants to tour campus' and speak with academic coordinators that can guide him to a successful career. The 6'3" 208lb OLB hopes to make an official visit to TXST come December.

Tim Wilkerson, DE Katy HS (Katy, TX)
The 5-A State Champion from Katy HS has found new schools that have been showing more interest than the Bobcats. The 6'3" 220 lb DE now holds offers from Washington State, Toledo, Harvard, Dartmouth, Arkansas Tech, and TXST. With interest coming from Arkansas, UH and UCLA, Wilkerson has a tough decision to make. He says that he is taking everything under consideration and see who approaches him more. TXST hasn't been in contact for some time. Wilkerson is looking for a place where he can further his career and be able to attend med school after football.

Jaylen Hardeman WR Hendrickson HS (Pflugerville, TX)
The WR from Hendrickson HS has no offers yet but says that it's looking like the Bobcats will be his first one. "I talk to the coaching staff at Texas State at least 3 times a week, they check on how I'm doing on the field and in school," said Hendrickson. The receiver is 6'2" and weighs 185 lb. with a 4.5 40-dash. He says he's looking for a school that has support for the team, a good coaching staff and is more of a fast paced area.
