WR A Top Target

In wrapping up the 2014 class Coach Fran was quick to point out that he would've liked to have had more wide receivers in his class, but it just didn't play out that way. He's not wasting any time going after this top 2015 WR prospect.

Still a junior, Justin Gamble of Stony Point HS already holds two offers, the aforementioned Bobcats and Texas Tech of the Big XII have already let him know he has a scholarship. The Texas State staff has been on Gamble since his sophomore year and he's grown an interest in the Bobcats.

"I have a cousin who goes to Texas State. I went on a campus visit last summer and Coach Johnson made me feel very welcomed. I do like them and I'm considering them. Coach Johnson is a really cool guy," said Gamble.

It won't be long before Justin has more offers to report as he's got a very busy schedule coming up with plenty of junior days to come.

"I have a couple of junior days in line: California, Texas State, SMU and Oklahoma State. I might go to Tulsa this weekend for their February 15th junior day," said Gamble.

At 6'0", now weighing 175lbs, he shines in going up and snatching the ball out of the air. He shows good hands and speed to rack up plenty of yards after the catch. Another summer of hitting the camp circuit along with some added weight and muscle, he's sure to reel in some more offers.

Just last month Justin clocked a 4.42 at the U.S. Army All American Underclassmen Combine showing he has that extra gear to take it to the house when he gets his hands on the ball.

With junior days lined up and already a few offers in hand, Gamble is zoning in on what he's looking for in a program.

"I want something that feels very family oriented because I'm big with family. I want to go somewhere where my family feels welcomed along with me. I kind of do want to stay close to home, but I'm not sure yet."
