OL Has Versatility

On the O-line, having versatility can make you that much more of a hot commodity. This O-lineman has just that and is now looking for it to pay off.

For his senior season, Logan Pool of Buda Hays High School, will be moving to the inside and starting at Center for the Rebels. Last year he started at left tackle and had the duties of being the teams deep snapper. At 6'3" 260lbs, he's more suited on the inside and that would be where he projects at the next level.

The Texas State Coaching Staff extended Pool an invite to the Spring Game and he jumped on the chance of making the short trip down I-35 and seeing the Bobcats in action.

"I loved it! I got to meet all the coaches. One of the coaches is a father of a kid that I go to school with. Great visit," said Pool.

As a whole, Pool is still waiting for that first offer, but recruiting is going well in general. In specific, the Bobcats haven't been talking to him that long. The most contact and communication they've had with him was at the spring game.

Secondary Coach Jason Washington is his area recruiter and he let Pool know that he'd be paying him a visit during Hays upcoming spring practices.

As the evaluation process continues, it'll be interesting to see if the staff makes Logan a target. If so, Texas State would be in a really good position.

"The tradition of the school, good atmosphere and biggest thing to me is the weight room. It's one of the big colleges I want to go to."
