Ray Rudolph has the size and certainly is one of the quicker players at his position in this upcoming recruiting class. Rudolph runs a 4.9 and will have three years left to make an impact and prove himself at the D1 level.
" I am considered much more of a finesse player, I'm not going to come in and run over people, but i am very quick off the ball and i really know how to use my hands to put offensive lineman on their heels," said Rudolph about his playing style.Rudolph was a standout in HS in the private school circuit at Pratwell Christian Academy in Alabama, recording 94 tackles, 14 sacks, and 23 TFL, while being named All-State, and was selected to the All American team by the NCSA. Ray sat out his first year at Kilgore, buts says he is eager to put himself on display this upcoming season and show he is capable of playing at the next level. Currently Rudolph is looking at offers from Arkansas State and Louisiana Monroe, while receiving interest from several other big schools such as San Jose State, South Alabama, Texas State, and Arizona State. Of his current offers Arkansas State seems to be catering most to Rudolph, however he says he plans to wait out his decision until he can better evaluate all of his options and take a look at all of the schools that are seriously interested, but would like to have his mind made up before his first game of next season. "I would like to go to a school with good, quality facilities, where i am able to get playing time early, and be a part of a winning program,".
