Myles Harges has the physicality and the potential, that is bringing him attention and already a few offers. At 6'2 220 lbs he is a presence on the field and running a 4.55 40, its hard not to be interested in this player who could turn out to be quite a presence on the defensive side of the ball.
"I'm a big physical OLB who can help with the run and also play tight coverage on most any receiver i am lined up against," said Harges about his play on the field.
In his first season at Itawamba JC, Harges recorded 56 tackles (3rd on team) 4 FF, 3FR, while returning one fumble all the way for a score. His performance last season was good enough to draw offers from Cal, South Alabama, and Texas State is the latest to extend an offer as coach Tatum came by to give him the news in person.
"Above all else I just want to go to a program that is going to win, but also want to find a place where I feel the coaches have a strong bond with the players,"
Myles will look to extend his decision out all of the way until national signing day, to give other schools a chance to give him an offer. There are three schools on him early but we will wait to see what other interest is drawn up by his play this coming season.
