Targeting OOS DE

With a recent offer to this talented Oklahoma City defensive end, that makes a bakers dozen of offers that have gone out past the state border.

The Texas State Coaching staff continues their recent run in targeting defensive personnel. Recently the staff offered D-Ends Chris Biggurs (Coppell HS) and Sam Miller (Canton HS), now they've gone out of state and have offered Joshua Little.

"He (Coach Tatum) told me the other coaches liked me and after Purdue offered me, they congratulated me and told me I had a Texas State offer. From the get go he said he really like me," said Little.

Little is a 6'4" 228lb defensive end that is starting to pick up interest. In the days after our update he picked up a third offer from Iowa State. The competition will be tough for the Bobcats, but they've made an impression already.

"I went down to visit Texas State on their junior day. Throughout my junior season I heard they were interested. They were a school that started showing interest in the middle of the season and it build up. He said he liked my size. We talked and had good conversations. It's a nice campus."

Josh does plan on visiting the Boilermakers, who are his other offer, later this summer.

Along with his division one frame, he posted a 4.79 earlier this spring during workouts in the 40 yard dash. It's yielded him 3 offers and Kansas State, and TCU are also showing interest.

With interest ramping up, it will be a few months before Little plans on making a decision. It could happen anytime during the fall. He has a pretty good idea of what he wants in a program though.

"I want to see where is the best fit for me. Where I can be welcomed. A program that's pointing in the right direction."
