Liking the Bobcats

This 6'3 220 lb OLB/DE out of Shoemaker High School has all the potential to be a big time pass rusher at the next level. Good thing the Bobcats are ahead of the pack at this point.

Kerry Walker is physically a presence on the defensive side of the ball, running a 4.6 at his size will have defensive Lineman on their toes, and scrambling to keep him in front. According to him, Texas State has all the ingredients needed to lure this promising pass rusher into wearing maroon and gold in 2015.

"I visited Texas State for their Junior Day and also attended one of their games last season. Just the overall atmosphere made me feel like this is the place I need to be. The coaches were really welcoming to me and I am really entertaining the idea of becoming a Bobcat," said Walker about Texas State's standing among his six offers.

Currently Walker is looking at offers from Utah State, Tennessee State, North Texas, Northern Illinois, and Houston, other than the Bobcats. Kerry is also seeing interest from several other schools such as Oklahoma, Baylor, Texas, Oregon State, UTSA, Navy, and even Yale.

The most overwhelming thing about Walker is the hits he puts on ball carriers. If you are running to his side of the field, you better brace your self. He will make you feel his presence. Walker uses his speed and solid frame to run straight through and demolish ball carriers with force.

Walker plans to make his decision by the beginning of next season after he is done evaluating all of his options. Texas State has the edge this point, but it will take constant recruiting to keep this big time recruit from drifting away.
