JC OLB Still Considering 'Cats

This speedy JC LB has been on the Bobcat's Radar for a while now and BI caught up with him to see where he is at in his recruitment.

Myles Harges is a 6'2 220-pound OLB for Itawamba CC in Fulton Mississippi, and posses the physical assets to be a player at the next level. Harges runs a 4.55 40 yard dash, which really aids him in his ability to get in the backfield and disrupt plays, as well as keep up with receivers when asked to play in coverage.

Harges' recruiting has picked up since the last time BI talked to him, extending his offer list from three (California, Texas State, and South Alabama) to now seven different schools, adding Arkansas State, Southern Mississippi, Middle Tennessee, and Memphis into the mix. Harges would not allude to who his favorites were, but had this to say about what he is looking for.

"I am really looking for a place where my relationship with the coaching staff is the strongest, where I feel like i can get a good education, and I want to be a part of a winning program," said Harges.

Myles said he will not have a good idea of which schools are his favorites until he starts to make his official visits after the conclusion of the season. Harges did say that the same day as his interview with BI, he had received a phone call from Defensive Tackles Coach Kyle Tatum.

"It had been a while since I had talked to anyone from Texas State, but they just called to check in on me and ask how my recruitment was going. We talked about how they had some people graduating and there could be some potential openings for some new people to step in and fill some shoes. Coach Tatum talked a little bit about the campus and how nice it is, and that they really would like to get me down to San Marcos for a visit," said Harges.

He also talked about how he got a chance to see Texas State play Tulsa this past weekend on television, and said that it was a good game. He was impressed with what he saw from the Bobcats. BI will keep you up with the latest on Harges recruitment, as he plans be be a December Transfer.
