"I want to go to a great program, where I will feel comfortable, and where i can get some playing time early. I plan on working to earn my spot on the field, however I do not like the idea of sitting on the bench for very long. One of the biggest factors for me is that I want to feel like I wont have to worry about anything for four years, and that I know I will be taken care of," said Somerville about what he is looking for in a program.
He had a great time during his visit for the Idaho game this past Saturday. The overall presence and atmosphere of Texas State, and that he was really wanted there. KeShawn was able to sit down and talk with Secondary Coach Jason Washington for a good period of time before the game and talk about his potential future as a Bobcat.
"My talk with Coach Washington went really good. We talked about my grades, how my season was going, and how he could see me fitting really nicely into a Bobcats uniform. Then we talked about Texas State and how the season was going. Afterwards I got to watch a really good game and overall I really enjoyed my visit," said Somerville.
He plans to take his time with his decision, and wait until he feels comfortable to announce. At one point earlier this summer, Somerville was considered a soft verbal to Baylor, but has since backed off that decision.
