Friday Night Hype: Week 9

BI takes a look at some performances from last week for Texas State Commits. This week is host to some nice performances.

Texas State is still holding strong at 11 commits for the 2015 cycle, we check in to see how some of them are doing.

Franklin steamrolls Coronado HS, 57-17, to advance to 7-1 on the season.

RB Anthony Taylor, Guyer HS
15 carries for 111 yards and 2 TD's
Guyer beats Byron Nelson HS, 59-28, is now 7-1 on the season.

QB Blake Peterson, Washburn Rural HS
11 for 25 with 191 yards and a TD, 4 carries for 87 yards and 2 TD's ( 34 and 67 yard TD runs)
Washburn Rural falls to Topeka HS, 49-28, and is 2-6 on the season.

QB L.G. Williams, Steele HS
15 of 33 for 196 yards, 1 rushing touchdown.
Steele defeats Judson, 23-22, to advance to 8-1 on the season.

WR Justin Gamble, Stony Point HS
4 receptions for 34 yards, 1 rush for 19 yards
Stony Point beats McNeil HS, 24-7, to advance to 5-3

DB Johnny Durham, Aledo HS
3 tackles, 1 interception and 3 PBU
Aledo demolishes Burleson HS, 73-7, to advance to 7-1 on the season.

DT Dustin McWhorter, Graham HS
6 tackles
Graham blows Mineral Wells HS out of the water, 58-0 to advance to 6-2 on the season.
