O-lineman Makes #18
It was only a few weeks back that the Texas State staff offered Kregg Lemmons, a versatile 6'4" 275lb O-lineman from Katy Taylor, and as of Sunday night he decided to end his recruitment and commit to Head Coach Dennis Franchione and his staff. BobcatIllustrated has confirmed that Lemmons has been recruited as an offensive tackle. He shows good lateral movement outside on the edge and positions himself to seal you in the run game, or extend the outside edge during pass protection. If he's needed to play elsewhere on the line, possibly at guard, he can. He is every bit of 275lbs and has good strength. Once Lemmons latches onto a defender, you can chalk it up for the lineman. Finishing blocks and doing it with a nasty streak is no problem for him. His commitment is the 18th for Texas State, and the second offensive lineman, for this cycle. The Bobcats are expected to have a class of 22-24 signees come National Signing Day.
