WR Visits, 'Cats Still #1

We continue to catch up with all the top talent that was on hand Friday at Texas State's camp. This WR target had the 'Cats at the top of his list and his visit only reinforced it.

Ralphlauren McCauley and his family made the four and a half hour drive from Grapevine to be at Texas State on Friday. Area recruiting coach Brad Bedell had told him ahead of time they wanted him down for the camp and he took the Coaching Staff up on their offer.

"It went good, I enjoyed it. It was nice and I loved the facilities, they were really nice," said McCauley.

Joining Ralph on the trip were his father, his two little brothers, niece and sister. From all accounts, McCauley said his family also enjoyed the trip to San Marcos and had nothing but good things to say.

While on campus, he took in the camp as well, and was able to speak with Wide Receivers Coach Jason Johnson and his potential plans for the Grapevine wideout.

"I got to speak with him, he was just telling me about the offense and how they would use me," said McCauley.

His visit to San Marcos was the first time he was able to take in the program and it only solidified his thoughts about Texas State, and now he's a bit torn on whether to make a decision before his season, or possibly wait.

"After the visit I'm taking it more serious, I'm liking Texas State. I want to commit before the season, but then I don't. It's a duel, back and forth. I could see my decision possibly carrying over into the season, I'm not really sure right now."
