"What bothers me is I read statements and I don't talk to anybody but Lubbock media when it comes to anything that has to do with this team, first. I read last night, something from some goofball on the Austin … something, that said that I made statements. I did not make statements. When I say something, I say it, mean it and go on with it.
"I love it here at Tech and I plan on being here at Tech. But the one thing about, for some reason, over the years, because we've had a little success, is people like your services they like what you do. "I'm not looking to leave. I don't plan on leaving. But as I told y'all last week, I learned over the years that you put everything in perspective and you go from there.

I've got a great job, we've got great fans and obviously I've got several groups of fans that we've got to get back on our side that have split from us for some reason, since I've been here have not jumped on our bandwagon. This is a school — like most schools I've been at — that everyone has to be on the same page. That's pretty much all I have to say about it.
"I'm not looking for a job, I don't have a job offer and bottom line, to me, that's where we're at."
