The Lady Raiders are ready to take take on Houston in their first road match of the season.

-       49th meeting between the two teams, with the series dating back to 1967-1977 season

-       Lady Raiders lead the all-time series 34-14, and 13-7 when playing in Hofheinz Pavilion

-       Last meeting was in 2010 Women's NIT in Lubbock, where Tech won 80-77

-       Houston's last victory against Tech came in 2007, and last win against a ranked opponent came back in 2004 against then-No.21 Nebraska

-       Last time Houston defeated a ranked Tech team was February 9, 1985, Cougars beat the then – No. 14 Lady Raiders 70-66 in Lubbock.

-       Tech opened season with 69-43 victory against New Mexico and Houston fell to New Mexico State 63-62

-       Porsche Landry, Houston senior point guard, racked up 37 points and tied a league and school record with 17 field goals made in the loss to New Mexico State

-       Kelsi Baker, Tech sophomore forward, tied a career high in points with her 12 against New Mexico in the season opener

-       Houston has the youngest team in Conference USA with six freshmen.

-       Tech returns 11 players from last years NCAA-Tournament squad.
