After completing the weekend, the Big 12 singles and doubles titles were handed out for men's and women's tennis.
For the Red Raiders, who were knocked out of the Big 12 Tournament with a 4-3 loss to Baylor, had two players receive titles – Vitor Manzini and Francisco Zambon.
Manzini, went 21-9 overall this season and 4-1 in conference play in the No. 4 spot.
Zambon, who filled out the bottom of the lineup at the No. 6 spot with a 12-11 overall record and 4-1 conference mark.
Both received Big 12 singles titles for their play in their respective spots.
For the Lady Raiders it was in their doubles duos that titles were rewarded.
Samantha Adams and Kenna Kilgo, who finished the season No. 28 in the country in doubles play, received some recognition going 25-7 overall and 7-1 in Big 12 play holding down the No. 1 spot for the Lady Raiders.
Tech's No.3 pair of Rashmi Teltumbde and Elizabeth Ullathorne also garnerd a title going 21-3 overall and a perfect 8-0 in league play. Teltumbde and Ullathorne won 87.5 percent of their matches this season, which marks the highest winning percentage in Tech history.
Both teams will now wait to hear where they will be placed in the 2012 NCAA Tournament and will find out during Tuesday's NCAA selection show.
