Notebook: Texas Tech 91, Omaha 63

Notes and tidbits of info from the Red Raiders second win of the season.

-       Texas Tech defeated Nebraska-Omaha, 91-63, on Wednesday night inside the United Spirit Arena


-       Red Raiders improve to 2-0 in the 2012 season, while the Mavericks falls to 1-2 overall in the season


-       Attendance: 7,053


-       Tech finished shooting 45.5% from the field, 29.6% from behind the arc and 72.2% from the charity stripe


-       Omaha finished shooting 46.4% from the field, 29.4% from behind the arc and 66.7% from the free-throw line


-       The Red Raiders outrebounded the Mavericks 48-27, and forced 17 turnovers scored 19 points off turnovers, while Omaha forced only eight turnovers and gave up only eight points on those turnovers


-       In the paint, Tech outscored Omaha 44-26, thanks in part to the big men for the Red Raiders


-       Jaye Crockett and Dejan Kravic, both had career nights for the Red Raiders.


-       Crockett leading the Red Raiders in scoring, coming off the bench, with 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field and grabbed 10 rebounds for his fifth-career double-double.


-       Kravic went 9-for-11 from the field scoring 20 points and grabbing six rebounds


-       Marked the first time since March 6, 2010 that two Red Raiders have scored 20 or more points in a single game


-       Justin Simmons led the scoring attack for the Mavericks with 13 points on 5-for-8 shooting and grabbed just two boards on the night


-       Behind Crockett's and Kravic's career nights, Josh Gray, who scored 10 points in the season opener, followed up that performance with another double-digit outing going 6-for-13 from the field for 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds


-       Texas Tech will be back on the court on Tuesday night inside the USA when the Red Raiders take on Grambling State with tip-off set for 8 p.m.
