Preview: Texas Tech vs. TCU

Here is everything that you all need to get ready for the game between the Red Raiders and Horned Frogs.

LUBBOCK, TX – It might be one of the most anticipated home games of the Kliff Kingsbury era thus far at Texas Tech.

The Red Raiders (2-0) welcome in 24th-ranked TCU into Jones AT&T Stadium for what many are calling a rare Thursday night game.

Texas Tech is coming off an absolute beat down of Stephen F. Austin, 61-13, while TCU got its first win of the season with a 38-17 victory against Southeastern Louisiana.

Tonight's meeting between the Red Raiders and Horned Frogs (1-1) is the second since TCU joined the Big 12, and the first meeting was unforgettable.

If you forgot it was a 56-53 triple overtime victory in Dallas.

It will be an interesting battle at quarterback as TCU trots out Trevone Boykin and Tech will send out true freshman walk-on quarterback Baker Mayfield looking for his third-straight win.

Texas Tech and TCU square off at Jones AT&T Stadium tonight with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m. and the game can be seen on ESPN.
