Texas Tech JUCO commit Shaquille Davis
The Mt. San Antonio College product said he will place pen to paper Wednesday morning.
"It's pretty exciting," Davis said. "I committed on Sunday after taking all five trips and I just felt like it's the right thing to do. I was very excited to do it."
The JUCO All-American will be available for only two seasons, but he looks forward to making an immediate impact. The 6-foot-4, 306 pound lineman plans to enroll for summer courses.
Davis said he's a big fan of Tech's passing system.
"As far as my abilities, which is why I've chosen to go to this school, is because they pass and I feel like I'm a very good pass blocker."
There is one more thing Davis wanted to add on.
"Guns up! Go Texas Tech!"
