Arlington Bowie defensive back Niko Small took part in Texas Tech's Junior Day Saturday.
The 2015 prospect spoke highly of his trip to the campus and described some of the things the prospects did.
"They took us in a truck and they toured us around the whole campus."
Small listed off a bunch of places around campus and inside the football facilities. He mentioned the rec center as his favorite.
"My favorite was probably the rec center, because of the all the stuff you can do."
The defensive back, who plays mostly corner, said he's talked with running backs coach Mike Jinks and defensive backs coach Kevin Curtis the most.
The Red Raiders have yet to offer Small, but Texas Tech currently sits at number three behind Oklahoma State and TCU. The visit helped Tech move up the list.
"They were about five or six before."
