Evans Enjoyed Visiting Texas Tech

RaiderPower.com caught up with Richardson Berkner point guard and Tech commit Keenan Evans to see how his visit went last weekend and if he is still solid with the Red Raiders.

Texas Tech commit Keenan Evans recently took an unofficial visit to Texas Tech and was in attendance for the 59-53 victory over Texas.

Evans had positive reactions to what he called a fun weekend.

"It was really good. The fans were good. I got to hang out with the players afterwards and had fun with them and that was about it. Just came back the next day."

The Richardson Berkner guard recently played a big role in leading the team to the regional semifinals before being ousted. Evans led the team averaging 19.2 points and six assists per game.

Evans has paid attention to the fan support of the Tech basketball team.

"They were really into the game," Evans said without hesitation. "They've gotten way better than they were at the beginning of the season."

The 6-foot-3 standout doesn't have any more basketball left until college, but he is working out and staying healthy. Evans added he is still 100 percent solid with Texas Tech and plans to sign his letter of intent in April.
