Dyer Takes a Second Look at Texas Tech

6-foot-4, 275-pound Mesquite Horn four-star OT Conner Dyer made his second trip to Lubbock in three weeks Wednesday. He visited on junior day in February and this last time he was in Lubbock to observe a spring practice. How did it go? Details inside.

One look at Mesquite Horn tackle Conner Dyer's highlights will tell you all you need to know about him on the gridiron--the guy means business.

On Wednesday he made his second trip to Lubbock in three weeks. It doesn't take a genius to figure out he is serious about Texas Tech.

"Yeah I'd say they are pretty high," Dyer texted Thursday.

Dyer enjoyed his time at the Texas Tech Football Facility and talked about how the Red Raiders' practice differed from other schools he has visited.

"I would say they are much more detail oriented," he said. "During individuals they took the time to explain things thoroughly before speeding up during team practice."

All-in-all Dyer enjoyed his time once again in Lubbock and came away impressed by what he saw.

"It went real well. I was glad to get down there and see how they coach and how they run practice."

Dyer is one of the most heavily recruited linemen of the 2015 class and holds offers from coast-to-coast including Baylor, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon, Stanford and Texas A&M.
