Texas Tech is still looking
Yet, the Red Raiders have hosted some pretty intriguing talent on that side of the ball, which of course begins with Mesquite Poteet linebacker Malik Jefferson. The five-star prospect is rated as the top player in Texas and No. 2 overall in the 2015 class.
Jefferson visited in February for junior day along with teammate and receiver offer DeAndre McNeil. Tech is among several Jefferson is said to be considering.
Then there's four-star defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko from Farrington (HI). Will he follow in the footsteps of his older brothers Sam, a former Tech linebacker, and VJ, who just transferred from Utah?
How many linebackers will the Red Raiders sign after a light, in terms of numbers, 2014 class?
Is Tech still taking the volume approach towards defensive backs after such a large haul in February?
All of these questions will be sorted out over the next several months, but in the meantime check out the prospects the coaching staff is pursuing.
