Texas Tech Lands Four-Star Defensive Tackle

Farrington (HI) defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko announced his commitment to Texas Tech via Twitter on Monday after spending a week on campus in Lubbock. Fehoko will follow in the footsteps of older brothers Sam and V.J. who recently transferred in after graduating from Utah.

Farrington (HI) 2015 defensive tackle and Texas Tech legacy Breiden Fehoko decided to follow the footsteps of two of his older brothers Monday morning.

Fehoko announced his commitment to Texas Tech via Twitter with a picture of himself flexing in front of the Texas Tech logo.

Fehoko will join his brother V.J., who transferred to Texas Tech after graduating from the University of Utah. Sam Fehoko was a three-time letterman at Texas Tech under Mike Leach and Tommy Tuberville from 2008-10.

Breiden is a four-star prospect who choose the Red Raiders over offers from the likes of Alabama, California, Clemson, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. The 6-foot-3, 280-pound younger Fehoko is rated as the No. 10 defensive tackle and No. 71 prospect overall in the nation by Scout.com.
