In case there was any doubt in the mind of Giles commitment to the Red Raiders, he made it real clear there are zero questions.
“Before I went on the visit, I was 100 percent solid commitment with Texas Tech. Now that I have been down there and seen everything, I think I’m 200 percent committed to Texas Tech now.”
Giles followed up with some clarification on how he could be 200 percent. “I’m not taking anymore visits.”
He does plan on visiting Texas Tech during the fall. Giles tweeted, “I wish I could take all five of my official visits to Texas Tech!”.
The 6-foot, 168-pound Fort Bend Elkins receiver chooses the Red Raiders over offers from Colorado, Missouri, Houston and Fresno State.
Giles does not just win on the field, but also with the video game controller. He played one of the coaches in NBA 2K15 and earned the victory. “They can talk trash. Before I played him, he was talking so much trash, and I got a little scared. If somebody talk trash to you, it means they’re good or something. I mean when I played him, I mean, he wasn't so good.”
The trip also included visits to the football facilities, eating and speaking with the coaches. Giles is currently one of seven Texas Tech commits in the potential signing class of 2015.
