Texas Tech Lands Williamson
Orlando (Fl.) wing C J Williamson committed to Texas Tech late Saturday night via Twitter to give the Red Raiders their second pledge of the 2015 class.
Williamson joins Houston St. Pius X guard and Texas Tech legacy Jordan Jackson on the Red Raiders commitment list for the 2015 recruiting cycle.
Williamson originally announced a commitment date of Oct. 27, but decided to pull the trigger Saturday while on an official visit in Lubbock.
The 6-foot-5, 180-pound wing chose Tech over offers from Gerogia Tech, Kansas State, Murray State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, UCF, UTEP, Virginia Commonwealth and Virginia Tech.
Willimason averaged 11.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.5 assissts and 1.8 steals per game for Evans last season according to MaxPreps.
