Huge Recruiting Weekend on Tap at Texas Tech

The Red Raiders will host some of the top talent in the nation this weekend for the game against in-state rival Texas.

Texas Tech will be hosting over a dozen recruits this weekend for the game against in-state rival Texas, which is set to kick off 6:30 p.m Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.

Among those already announced on Twitter are five-star quarterback Jarrett Stidham, who has signed a financial aid agreement with Tech, Lufkin receiver Keke Coutee and four-star defensive end Joseph Wicker, who is visiting all the way from Long Beach (Calif.). Tech has at least three coveted senior defensive linemen set to visit this weekend and already has three others committed.

RaiderPower.com also confirmed with three-star Louisiana safety Justin Reid that the standout will be taking an official visit to Texas Tech this weekend. Reid holds offers from several of the top programs in the nation and named the Red Raiders as a finalist back in August in this story.

While Coutee and Wicker are making official visits, the Red Raiders will also host several class of 2016 recruits, including three-star safety commit Collin Wilder and his Katy teammate Paddy Fisher, a standout linebacker who has visited the South Plains before.
