The 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker tallied 47 tackles, 11 for loss, five sacks and a forced fumble last seasonn. He holds offers from Air Force, Army, Boise State (which he picked up shortly after visiting Tech), Iowa, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe, Pittsburgh, Texas State and Washington.
The following interview was conducted through direct messages via Twitter:
RaiderPower: Well, first off how did the visit go overall?
Badejo: Perfect, Amazing, Memorable, let's just say that.
RaiderPower: Take me through the visit. When did you get there, who did you travel with and then what did you do?
Badejo: I got there around 10 a.m. and I traveled with my uncle and his girlfriend. We got there and I met up with coach [Emmett] Jones and [Kevin] Curtis. And then two tour guides took us for a tour around the weight room, team meeting room, nutritions, locker room. I got to fit the jerseys, and met more coaches. Then we headed out to the education side and the tour guides showed me where my classes would be at and then went to the REC center.
RaiderPower: What did you think of coach Jones and coach Curtis? Which other coaches did you meet?
Badejo: They are great! It felt like home around them. I also met coach [David] Gibbs, [Mike] Smith, [Zac] Spavital and [Eric] Morris.
RaiderPower: Who is leading your recruitment? Which Tech coach or coaches do you speak with the most? How often do you talk with them?
Badejo: Like coach wise leading or school? I speak with Jones and Curtis the most. And I talk to them literally light to night.
RaiderPower: Yeah, I meant coach wise. We'll get to your overall recruitment. What did you think of the facilities during the tour? Anything stand out?
Badejo: Coach Jones is. The facilities are great! And I have to say the nutritions stand out because they want to make sure I stay in shape and take care of my body.
RaiderPower: Did Tech offer you today or talk about an offer?
Badejo: They said they will check me out next week is when we start spring ball. They have to see the way I move. But basically coach Jones said, "We are going to offer you".
RaiderPower: What did you think of practice?
Badejo: The practice was great. I know I will fit in well with the LB's.
RaiderPower: I saw you just picked up one (an offer) from Boise State. How did that go down?
Badejo: My head coach called me and told me they offered and their defensive line coach followed me on Twitter yesterday and told me to call him.
RaiderPower: This seems like a good time to ask where you stand in tour recruitment. Do you have an idea when you want to decide and who is standing out?
Badejo: Hands down I want to be a Red Raider. So once they offer I will commit.
RaiderPower: Is there anything specific about Tech that makes them your leader?
Badejo: The staff and players. I feel comfortable and it's my dream school.
RaiderPower: I wanted to ask how tall you are and how much you weigh to make sure we have it right.
Badejo: 6'3, 220.
RaiderPower: Thanks. Did Tech talk about how exactly they see you fitting in to the system? Do they see you as a OLB or DE at the next level?
Badejo: They see me as both when I came out there they called me "The Specialist" because I can play more then one position.
RaiderPower: Nice. Great stuff. Is there anything you'd like to add or is there anything I'm missing?
Badejo: Nope, got nothing, just hope they offer really soon so I can become a Red Raider!
