OL Zach Adams, Riverbend (VA)

Riverbend fell to Chancellor 27-24 on Friday. The Bears put up 332 yards of offense but it wasn’t enough to keep up with Fredericksburg (VA) Chancellor. Up next: vs. Spotsylvania (VA) Courtland, 4 p.m. Friday

CB Neiman Armstrong, DeSoto

DeSoto fell 49-16 to Arlington Martin. Up next: vs. IMG Academy, 2 p.m. Saturday

WR Dequan Bowman, Hutchinson (KS) Community College

Bowman returned a punt for 81 yards and a touchdown and caught six passes for a total of 74 yards. Hutchinson CC slayed Sterling College 70-0. Up next: at Fort Scott, 7 p.m. Saturday

LB Jordyn Brooks, Houston Stratford

Brooks returned a fumble for 75 yards for a touchdown in Houston Strafford’s 34-7 win over Houston Memorial on Thursday. Up next: at Alief Elsik, 7 p.m. Friday

OT Travis Bruffy Missouri Ridge Point

Ridge Point fell to Clear Creek 34-28, the Ridge Point offense was able to score two late touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. Up next: at Fort Bend Hightower, 6 p.m. Saturday

TE Donte Coleman, West Mesquite

Coleman caught one pass for 21 yards in West Mesquite’s 22-9 loss against Arlington Seguin. Up next: at Wylie, 7:30 p.m. Friday

WR Antoine Cox-Wesley, Cibolo Steele

Cox-Wesley caught one pass for nine yards to aid Cibolo Steele in a 49-14 win over Madison. Up next: at Laredo United South, 7:30 p.m. Friday

RB Bryson Denley, Cibolo Steele

Denley rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Up next: at Laredo United South, 7:30 p.m. Friday

DE Austin Deshay Pflugerville Hendrickson

Hendrickson's defense held Judson to only 12 points, but the offense couldn’t produce enough for the win. Hendrickson lost 12-9. Up next: vs. Belton, 7:30 p.m. Friday

QB Jett Duffey, Mansfield Lake Ridge

In the first half Duffey had 80 passing yards and and 43 yards on four carries. Lake Ridge was up 46-6 when Duffey left the game. Lake Ridge went on to win 52-26. Up next: at Keller Fossil Ridge, 7 p.m. Thursday

CB Damarcus Fields, Taylor

Fields starred on defense, offense and sepcial teams. He picked off a pass in the end zone, forced two fumbles broke up at least three passes and returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown in Taylor's 43-41 victory over Robinson. Up next: at Rockdale, 7:30 p.m. Friday.

OT Emoree Giddens, Lubbock Coronado

Coronado fell to Weatherford 29-19 in the season opener.  Up next: at Odessa High, 7:30 p.m. Friday

OL Clarence Henderson, Dallas Skyline

The Skyline offense totaled 300 in a 23-12 win over South Grand Prairie. Up next: vs. Arlington Martin, 7:30 p.m. Friday

DT Ivory Jackson, Amarillo

Amarillo beat Palo Duro 35-7 and held the Dons to 188 yards of offense. Up next: vs. Wicita Falls Rider, 7:30 p.m. Friday

DE Noah Jones, Southmoore (OK)

BYE Up next: at Edmond (OK) Memorial, 7 p.m. Thursday

DT Nicholas McCann, Texarkana Arkansas

BYE Up next: vs. Texarkana Texas, 8 p.m. Friday

DE Houston Miller, Keller

Miller started the season off with two sacks in Keller’s 35-28 win over Midland. Up next: at Flower Mound, 7:30 p.m. Friday

OL Giovanni Pancotti, Houston Bellaire Episcopal

Episcopal put up 565 yards of total offense to beat Plano Prestonwood Christian 54-42 in the season opener. Up next: vs. Midland Christian (in Waco), 7:30 p.m. Friday

LB Johnathan Picone, Mandeville (LA)

Picone opened the season with 12 tackles, two sacks and a block field goal, but Mandeville fell to Riverside 20-17 on a last minute touchdown. Up next: vs. New Orleans (LA) Holy Cross, 7 p.m. Friday

LB Brayden Stringer, Cypress Ranch

Stringer was pulled out the game on the second series for inappropriate conduct. He played on special teams in the first half and had a tackle on the kicker. Up next: Bye

DT Mychealon Thomas, Butler (KS) County College

Thomas tallied four tackles in Butler CC’s 47-12 win over Independence. Up next: vs. Iowa Western, 7 p.m. Saturday

WR T.J. Vasher Wichita Falls Rider

Vasher caught six passes for a total of 160 receiving yards in Rider’s 38-32 loss to Abilene Cooper. Up next: at Amarillo, 7:30 p.m. Friday

DT Joe Wallace, Skyline

Skyline held South Grand Prairie to 219 yards of total offense in the 23-12 win on Friday. Up next: vs. Arlington Martin, 7:30 p.m. Friday

RB Da’Leon Ward, Dallas Skyline

Ward led Skyline’s offense by rushing for 189 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. Skyline defeated South Grand Prairie 23-12. Up next: vs. Arlington Martin, 7:30 p.m. Friday

WR Derrick Willies, Trinity Valley C.C.

Willies had five catches for 70 yards in Trinity Valley’s 56-66 loss against Nassau Community College. Up next: at Navarro College, 7 p.m. Saturday
