DeSoto lost to Cibolo Steele 35-33. DeSoto’s defense allowed 377 yards of total offense. Up next: vs. Grand Prairie 7:30 p.m. Friday

WR Dequan Bowman, Hutchinson (KS) Community College

Hutchinson defeated Iowa Central 40-8. Up next: vs. Dodge City 7:00 p.m. Saturday 

LB Jordyn Brooks, Houston Stratford

OT Travis Bruffy Fort Bend Ridge Point

WR Antoine Cox-Wesley, Cibolo Steele

Cox-Wesley caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in Cibolo Steele’s 35-33 win over Cibolo Steele. Up next: vs. Smithson Valley, 7:30 p.m. Friday

RB Bryson Denley, Cibolo Steele

Denley rushed for 67 yards on eight carries and a touchdown and caught two passes for 10 yards. Denley fumbled at the beginning of the fourth quarter giving DeSoto chance to come back but Steele held their lead and won 35-33. Up next:  vs. Smithson Valley, 7:30 p.m. Friday

DE Austin Deshay Pflugerville Hendrickson

The Hendrickson defense held Round Rock Westwood to 105 yards of total offense and defeated them 42-7.  Up next: vs. Austin McNeil 7 p.m. Friday 

QB Jett Duffey, Mansfield Lake Ridge

Lake Ridge defeated Lancaster 48-27. Duffey went completed 11 of 21 passes for 151 yards and one touchdown. He also ran for a total of 33 yards. Up next: vs. Waxahachie, 7:00 p.m. Thursday

CB Damarcus Fields, Taylor

Taylor fell to La Grange 42-14 on Friday. Fields did not play in the game due to a shoulder injury.  Up next: at Burnet, 7:30 p.m. Friday.

OT Emoree Giddens, Lubbock Coronado

Coronado lost to Amarillo Randall 28-23. The Mustang’s offense created 336 total yards, but it wasn’t enough to get the win. Up next: vs. Odessa Permian, 7:30 p.m. Thursday

OL Clarence Henderson, Dallas Skyline

DT Ivory Jackson, Amarillo

Amarillo defeated Odessa 31-21 on Friday. Up next: vs. Midland, 7:30 p.m. Friday

DE Noah Jones, Southmoore (OK)

Southmoore defeated Edmond Santa Fe 34-31.  Noah Jones racked up eight tackles in the contest. Up next: at Moore, 7:00 p.m. Saturday

Arkansas High lost to Marshall 56-28. The Arkansas defense allowed 542 yards of total offense in the contest. Up Next: at Arkansas Pine Bluff, 7:30 Friday

OL Giovanni Pancotti, Houston Bellaire Episcopal

Episcopal beat St. Thomas 28-21. The Episcopal offense put up a total of 507 yards in the contest. Up next: at Houston St. Johns, 7:00 p.m. Friday

LB Johnathan Picone, Mandeville (LA)

University Lab beat Mandeville 42-27.  Up next: at Fontainebleau, 7:00 p.m. Friday

LB Brayden Stringer, Cypress Ranch

Cy Ranch defense only allowed Langham Creek to produce 267 total yards in their 27-14 win against the Lobos. Up Next: at Cypress Woods, 6:00 p.m. Saturday

DT Mychealon Thomas, Butler (KS) County College

Butler blew out Fort Scott 70-20 on Saturday. Up next: vs. Air Force Prep, 7:00 p.m. Saturday
