Fri. Night Lights: Texas Tech Commit Roundup

OL Zach Adams, Riverbend (VA)

Riverbend defeated Woodridge 26-13 on Friday with their offense putting up only 185 total yards but it was enough to get the win.  Up next: vs. Woodbridge Freedom 7:00 p.m. Friday

CB Neiman Armstrong, DeSoto

DeSoto fell to Mansfield 35-21 as the defense gave up 468 total yards and 284 of those to Mansfield running back Kennedy Brooks. Up next: vs. South Grand Prairie, 7:30 p.m. Friday

WR Dequan Bowman, Hutchinson (KS) Community College

Bowman had one catch for 7 yards and also returned four punts, the longest being 18 yards in Hutchinson’s 49-13 win over Garden City. Up next: at Kansas Highland 1:00 p.m. Saturday 

LB Jordyn Brooks, Houston Stratford

Stratford defeated Brenham 38-14 as the defense held Brenhamn to only 155 yards of total offense.  Up next: vs. Houston Spring Woods 7 p.m. Friday

OT Travis Bruffy Fort Bend Ridge Point

Ridge Point crushed Santa Fe 49-7as the offense was able to create 422 total yards of offense and 296 of those on the ground. Up next: vs. Fort Bend Elkins, 7 p.m. Thursday

WR Antoine Cox-Wesley, Cibolo Steele

Cox-Wesley caught two passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in Cibolo Steele’s 55-0 win over San Antonio Wagner. Up next: at New Braunfels, 7:30 p.m. Friday

RB Bryson Denley, Cibolo Steele

Denley was the leading rusher with 126 yards on seven carries and two touchdowns in Steele’s 55-0 win over San Antonio Wagner. Up next: at New Braunfels, 7:30 p.m. Friday

DE Austin Deshay Pflugerville Hendrickson

Hendrickson defeated Stony Point 31-23 despite the defense giving up 351 yards of total offense.  Up next: vs. Pflugerville, 7:00 p.m. Friday 

QB Jett Duffey, Mansfield Lake Ridge

Duffey completed 8 of 15 for 125 yards and three touchdowns and added 152 yards on the ground on 11 attempts and another score in Lake Ridge’s 49-24 win over Timberview. Up next: vs. Red Oak, 7:30 p.m. Friday 

CB Damarcus Fields, Taylor

Taylor defeated Boerne 42-28. Field’s highlights show 10 tackles and a huge pass break up in the end zone. Up next: at Liberty Hill, 7:30 p.m. Friday 

OT Emoree Giddens, Lubbock Coronado

Coronado fell to Amarillo 28-24. Giddens continued to help out on the defensive line.  Up next: vs. Monterey, 7:30p.m. Friday

OL Clarence Henderson, Dallas Skyline

Skyline defeated Irving Nimitz 44-13 after the offense put up 349 yards of total offense and 170 of those on the ground with fellow Texas Tech commit Da’Leon Ward. Up next: at W.T. White, 7:00 p.m. Thursday 

DT Ivory Jackson, Amarillo

Amarillo defeated Coronado 28-24. Up next: BYE

DE Noah Jones, Southmoore (OK)

Southmoore fell to Tulsa Union 52-24 and Noah Jones had five total tackles in the contest. Up next: vs. Mustang (OK) 7:00 p.m. Thursday 

DT Nicholas McCann, Texarkana Arkansas

Arkansas defeated El Dorado 38-31 despite the defense giving up 359 yards of total offense. Up Next: vs. Benton (AR), 7:00 Friday 

DE Houston Miller, Keller

Keller fell to Byron Nelson 21-14 despite the defense only giving up 240 yards in the contest. Up next: at Keller Timber Creek, 7:00 p.m. Friday

OL Giovanni Pancotti, Houston Bellaire Episcopal

Episcopal blew out Dallas Episcopal 63-13 as the offense put up 467 total yards and 312 of that on the ground. Up next: at Irving Cistercian Prep, 7:00 p.m. Friday

LB Johnathan Picone, Mandeville (LA)

Mandeville defeated North shore 38-7. Up next: at Slidell (LA)  7:00 p.m. Friday

LB Brayden Stringer, Cypress Ranch

Cy Ranch defeated Cy Springs 59-20. The Cy Ranch defense allowed 399 yards but it was enough for the win. Up Next: vs. Cypress Ridge, 7:00 p.m. Saturday

DT Mychealon Thomas, Butler (KS) County College

Butler defeated Dodge City 38-14. Thomas tallied seven total tackles (six solo) a sack and an additional tackle for loss. Up next: at Coffeyville, 7:00 p.m. Saturday 

WR T.J. Vasher Wichita Falls Rider

Vasher caught four passes for 101 yards in Rider’s 37-29 victory over Chisholm Trail. Up next: at Denton, 7:00 p.m. Friday 

DT Joe Wallace, Dallas Skyline

Skyline defeated Irving Nimitz 44-13. Up next: vs. Irving Nimitz, 7:30 p.m. Friday

RB Da’Leon Ward, Dallas Skyline

Ward rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on 22 attempts in Skyline’s 44-13 win over Irving Nimitz. Up next: at W.T. White, 7:00 p.m. Thursday

WR Derrick Willies, Trinity Valley C.C.

Willies caught four passes for 76 yards and a 30-yard touchdown in Trinity Valley’s 36-28 win over Blinn College. Up next: at Arkansas Baptist, 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
