Q: Yeah, the obvious question is how big was it on Senior Day to get that sixth win, bowl eligible and the feeling in the locker room afterwards?
Morales: It just feels good. These last three weeks have been kind of down, we lost the games, and just to get this, to get to a bowl and all, to get the extra practices for the young guys and for me just to be around the program makes me happy.
Q: Dre mentioned y'all had a player's only meeting on Monday. Is that overstated by us or was that a big part of your preparation this week?
Morales: I think it's a little overstated. That was just guys trying to get things up in the air. It was what it was. We had a bad three weeks, guys just had to speak their minds and I don't think it had any extra motivation for us to come out and perform. It was what it was.
Q: Kingsbury agreed with one of the reporter this was the most physical y'all have played all year as a team. How were y'all able to do that? How were y'all able to be so physical and control the line of scrimmage?
Morales: I mean I don't think we had a choice. Kansas State, they get after guys on tape. They have gotten after everybody and if we had come out there and played soft we would have gotten our butts kicked. We had to play to their level, we did and I'm happy to come out with the W.
Q: You have pass blocked so much in your career here, to see Dre had the kind of day he did today and especially on Senior Day, what was that like?
Morales: I'm just happy for DeAndre. He's been through a lot since he's been here, been through the ACL deal. My brother has been through it. I know it's a hard process. I'm just happy for him to get back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
