Texas Tech has four offensive linemen committed for the 2016 class and they are all big boys who can play up and down the line as coach Lee Hays likes.
First up is Zach Adams out of Fredericksburg Riverbend High School in Virginia. Listed at 6-foot-8, 320 pounds, this behemoth is a Scout three-star prospect ranked as the No. 3 offensive tackle in Virginia, No. 8 in the East Region and No. 43 in the nation. Adams chose Tech over the likes of Kentucky, Maryland, Penn State, Pitt and West Virginia.
Up next is Travis Bruffy out of Fort Bend Ridge Point. Listed at 6-foot-7, 265 pounds, Bruffy earned first team all District 23-5A and APSE honorable mention all-state honors. A Scout two-star prospect, Bruffy committed to Tech over reported offers from Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, New Mexico and Rice.
Giovanni Pancotti out of Houston Bellaire Episcopal is another masher with a big frame, listed at 6-foot-6, 273 pounds. A Scout three-star prospect, Pancotti is ranked as the No. 9 guard in Texas, No. 10 in the Midlands region and No. 57 in the country, He picked Tech over a reported offer from Houston.
Bailey Smith out of Lucas Lovejoy in the DFW area was offered and committed on the same day back in November. Listed at 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, Smith is a Scout two-star prospect and earned first team all-District 10-5A honors as a senior.
