Texas Tech is hosting a handful of recruits this weekend at arguably its two biggest need positions: offensive line and defensive back.
Two familiar faces expected to be in town are Tech commits and Frisco teammates Jack Anderson and Dawson Deaton. Anderson, known for his affinity for Chipotle, already put the location across the street from campus on notice.
Another offensive lineman who Raider Power confirmed plans on visiting this weekend is Denton road grader Grant Polley. The one-time Kansas commit has seen his recruitment blow up to over a dozen offers.
Speaking of blowing up, Dallas Kimball athlete Devodrick Johnson, who Tech offered as a safety, is reeling in the offers this spring. It's easy to see why. At 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, Johnson is fast yet doesn't shy away from contact.
Raider Power also confirmed with Angelton safety and Tech offer Quincy Addison that he will be visiting the South Plains this weekend. He's another big defensive back at 6-2.
Last, but not least is Dallas Lincoln do-it-all athlete Devodric Bynum. Bynum is a very good kick returner and slot receiver prospect who appears faster on the field than his 4.54 40 time. He could also play corner at the next level.
