Texas Tech Commit Roundup: Week 5

RB Stanley Hackett, Pasadena Rayburn

Rayburn was shut out by La Porte 51-0. Stanley Hackett still put his offense on his back with 29 carries for a 112 yards and also two catches for 35 yards. Up next: at Deer Park on Friday at 7 p.m.

RB Tyree Range, Riverside (Calif.) CC

Riverside routed Ventura 52-27 but Range didn't play. He has 11 yards and a touchdown so far this season. Up next: vs. Cerritos Saturday at 8 p.m.

CB Adrian Frye, Houston Eisenhower

Houston Eisenhower still struggled to put one in the win column as they fell to Aldine Davis 35-7. The Eisenhower defense allowed 232 total yards and 79 through the air. Up next: at Spring on Thursday at 7 p.m.

WR Kamren Curl, Muskogee (OK)

The Muskogee offense put up 60+ points again this week in their 63-6 win over Bartlesville. Kamren Curl had four catches for 49 yards in the contest. Up next: vs. Bixby on Friday at 7 p.m.

S Quincy Addison, Angleton

Angleton defeated Rosenberg Terry 56-30. The Angleton defense allowed 361 total yards but only 33 of those were passing yards. Addison caught a 31-yard touchdown pass for a touchdown in the first quarter. Up next: at Victoria East on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

WR Bronson Boyd, Arlington Oakridge

Boyd is not playing due to injury.

CB John Davis and DB Cam Jones, Euless Trinity

Euless Trinity defeated Lewisville 41-7. The defense held Lewisville to 217 total yards of offense 78 of those through the air. Cameron Jones had an “acrobatic” type interception in the third quarter. Up next: at Southlake Carroll on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

WR Treveon Johnson, Giddings

Giddings lost in a close one to Brownwood 36-35. Giddings led the stat sheet in total plays (74-51), first downs (20-13), total yards (419-311) and rushing yards (274-157), but couldn’t seal the deal as penalties plagued the team. Up next: BYE

OT Casey Verhulst, Plano East

Verhulst is not playing due to injury.

OT Dylan Weaver, Piedra Vista (NM)

Weaver is not playing due to injury.

S Adam Beck, Richmond George Ranch

George Ranch defeated Alief Hastings 35-21. The George Ranch defense allowed 334 total yards but got an interception and forced a fumble. Up next: at Pearland Dawson on Friday at 7 p.m.

OT Will Farrar, Fort Bend Travis

Fort Bend Travis got a big 86-20 win over Fort Bend Clemens. The Travis offense put up 580 total yards of offense and just 142 of those were on the ground. Up next: vs. Fort Bend Dulles on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

QB Xavier Martin, Cibolo Steele

Cibolo Steele defeated Converse Judson 30-9 and Xavier Martin did not play in the contest due to an injury. Cody Massey stepped up in his place and went 11-for-17 with 181 yards and two touchdowns in his first start. Up next: BYE

C Jack Anderson and C Dawson Deaton, Frisco High

Frisco was on a bye week. Up next: vs. Frisco Lone Star on Friday at 7 p.m.
