Signing Day Spotlight
Will Farrar, Offensive Tackle, Fort Bend (Texas) Travis
Size: 6-5, 290
Recruiting: Farrar committed in mid-June to Texas Tech and stuck with the Red Raiders after being pledged earlier in his recruitment to UCLA. Farrar enrolled in Lubbock at the semester.
Rankings: Scout ranks Farrar as the No. 6 offensive tackle in the state of Texas for the 2017 class, as well as No. 49 nationally at his position in this cycle.
Farrar is a potentially position-versatile offensive line prospect with the requisite size to play tackle or guard at the high-major level.
Played right tackle as a junior for high school team. Big, burly lineman who is a hand full in the run game. Consistently finishes blocks. Plays with a bit of a mean streak. Solid upper-body technique in pass pro.
Can improve lateral mobility and overall flexibility. Sometimes bends at waist rather than knees, but usually plays with good leverage, especially for a 6-5+ prospect.
Well-rounded player with high ceiling as a pass-blocker who will play at the P5 level. - Gabe Brooks

- Potential position versatility
