Evaluation notes

With plenty of height and ample space to grow even larger, Casey Verhulst is an FBS-caliber offensive line prospect whose build best projects to a tackle position at the next level. Verhulst plays LT for one of Texas' largest high schools and competes against quality competition in practice and games. A 6-foot-6, frame is his best attribute. Already a big player, Verhulst possesses a significant amount of space on his frame to add bulk. High ceiling as a pass protector because of his frame potential. Shows fairly good quickness off the ball. At times more of a leaner than a bender, which combined with his great height can at times hurt his leverage consistency. Can improve balance, particularly in kick-slide pass-pro situations. - Gabe Brooks
