Recruiting: Justin Forsett Likes Three

We caught up with Grace Prep RB Justin Forsett (5-8.5, 175) to grab his thoughts on the Red Raiders today.

"Coach (Johnny) Barr came out to my school today (Thursday) to sit down and have a meeting and get some of my highlight tapes," Justin Forsett said.

Next course of action in the process, according to the scat-back, has Barr reviewing more tape...

As for Justin, from the time I covered him a few months back for the Fort Worth Star Telegram, he has remained interested in the Red Raiders.

"I like their offense a lot," he said. "The RB gets a lot of touches in their style of offense. It doesn't matter to me how I get the ball."

With offers from UConn, San Jose State and Utah in the bag, he's drawing major interest from Notre Dame and Texas Tech.

"My top three right now are UConn, Notre Dame and Texas Tech," Forsett said. "I like Tech and I've heard it's a great place to go to school but I'd like to take a visit."

The Arlington prep also mentioned that playing in Texas would be attractive to him because it's closer to home.

Note: Forsett amassed 2,570 yards while scoring 38 touchdowns. Grace Prep went 11-1 in route to the TAPPS 4A state championship. He was also a first team all-state selection.
