Red Raiders roll past Sooners

The Texas Tech Red Raiders (15-2, 3-0) defeated the Oklahoma Sooners (10-4, 0-3) by a score of 67-47 thanks to a dominating defensive performance. Andre Emmett led all scorers with 21 points.

Oklahoma tried to take control of the game with a 5-0 run to make the score 11-8 with 11:20 left in the first half, but Texas Tech answered with a 10-0 run to take an 18-8 lead with five and a half minutes to go in the half. Texas Tech led 25-19 at the half.

The Red Raiders took control of the game in the second half. A 5-0 run extended the Texas Tech lead to 35-22 with 16:46 left in the game. The Red Raiders used another 5-0 run to make the score 40-24 with 14:50 to go in the game. This run was followed by a 9-0 Texas Tech run, stretching the lead to 49-26 with 11:30 left in the game. Texas Tech was able to maintain this lead, winning by a final score of 67-47.
