In the second half the Red Raiders used a 7-0 run to take a 42-41 lead with 12:37 left in the game. Joey Graham scored with 1:49 left to tie game at 64 with 1:49 left in the game. John Lucas scored a layup with 1:07 left to give Oklahoma State a 66-64 lead. The Red Raiders fouled Lucas with 15 seconds left, but Lucas made both free throws to stretch the Cowboy lead to 69-64. Jarrius Jackson drew a foul with 7 seconds left and made both free throws to make the score 68-66. Texas Tech once again fouled Lucas, who made both free throws to give the Cowboys the 70-66 victory.
Red Raiders lose in Stillwater
Both teams struggled offensively in the first half. The scored stayed close, with Texas Tech never leading by more than 4 points. Oklahoma State tied the game at 18 points with 5:28 left in the half. Oklahoma State used a 5-point run to take a 28-23 lead with 3:04 left in the half. A late run by the Cowboys stretched their lead to 34-27 at the half.
