Longview defensive back <b>Corderra Hunter</b> brings impressive size/speed to the table and that has some teams getting involved early.
Picking up the pace in his recruitment has been three schools in particular, according to the state's No. 22.
"Notre Dame, U of H and Texas Tech are sending me stuff now," Corderra Hunter said. "I basically got all of this stuff Wednesday."
So what's the Fightin' Irish saying?
"Notre Dame said they're very excited about recruiting me and that they'd like for me to come and visit."
According to Hunter, "U of H" sent a hand-written letter via head coach Art Briles requesting a visit from the 6-0.5/6-1 east Texas prospect "because they'd like to talk to him".
"Texas Tech said that they're looking at me and that they're looking forward to recruiting me this year."
The schools Hunter is interested in today?
"Notre Dame, Texas Tech, University of Texas, Miami, Oregon, Oklahoma and The University of Houston."
