Junior Report:Corderra Hunter

We caught up with Longview DB Corderra Hunter to get the latest news on his recruiting. Hunter was scheduled to make a trip to visit Texas Tech a week ago but was unable to make the trip. Are the Red Raiders still in his plans?

In a word, yes. In fact, he has Texas Tech listed as number one on his top 5 list.

"My top five right now is Tech, Stephen F. Austin, Nebraska, Texas and Texas A&M," said Hunter.

What is it about the Red Raiders that he finds attractive?

"I just really like their program and was pretty upset when I couldn't make the visit," said Hunter. "I definitely can't wait to get out there and check the place out."

What is it that he likes about SFA?

"They're close to home," said Hunter.

Nebraska?

"They're recruiting me in both track and football," said Hunter. UT?

"I went out there for a track meet and it's a nice stadium. Then you look across the street and the football stadium is really nice too," said Hunter.

A&M?

"They were the first to really give me any attention so I have to keep them in my top 5," said Hunter.

When I asked hunter who he would commit to if today was signing day he wasted no time in answering.

"Tech."

Don't look for that commitment any time soon however. Hunter plans on going through the entire recruiting process.
