According to Childs, it was the family atmosphere that sold him on K-State.
"I just felt that Kansas State was going to be a great place for me to spend the next 4-years," said Childs. "I am totally solid in my commitment and I will not take any other visits."
Childs said he feels like a weight has been lifted from his shoulders now that he has committed.
"It was a lot of pressure to go through and it's nice to be able to just worry about preparing for my senior season," said Childs.
