Alex Odiari Loves Texas Tech Official Visit

Lewisville Hebron DLAlex Odiari is an interesting prospect who combines freakish quickness with impressive size. His future position could very well be at middle linebacker, but some are calling for him to stay on the DL as a potential DE or DT. Just this past weekend, the 3-star prep tripped to Texas Tech for his first official visit -- "I loved it!"

"I loved it a lot," said Alex Odiari on his recent official visit to Lubbock. "The players, the coaches are real cool. And the people there are really nice. Everything in that town is all about Tech."

Asked about their dominating performance against the Huskers, the Hebron senior said, "They're (Red Raiders) going to be real good."

No commitment from the Texas Hot 100 No. 68.

"I'm not trying to commit early," Odiari said. "I want to check everything out first. I have an official visit to Iowa State set up for December 3rd. I'm also looking at TCU, Arkansas, SMU and maybe Wisconsin."

Anyone in the lead?

"Tech is in the lead," Odiari maintaining his previous stance said. "Of course, after you get through taking an official visit, they're going to be in the lead. But TCU is right up there with them."
